The Foster (supported through the Foster Art and Wilderness Foundation) is a LEED Silver building in Palo Alto, CA, that houses a permanent collection of wilderness watercolor paintings from living, British artist-explorer and plein air painter, Tony Foster. The Foster is home to two complete Tony Foster Journeys, Exploring Beauty: Watercolour Diaries from the Wild and Sacred Places: Watercolour Diaries from the American Southwest, and a retrospective gallery of paintings from past Journeys.
