HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

You may schedule an appointment up to 60 days in advance of your visit.

DO YOU PERMIT WALK-INS?

Yes! We are open 10 AM to 5 PM on Monday through Friday and 12-5 PM on Saturday and Sunday (excluding major holidays).

ONCE I SUBMIT MY ONLINE REQUEST IS MY APPOINTMENT OFFICIALLY SCHEDULED?

Not quite! You will receive an email confirmation when your appointment has been confirmed.

CAN I ADD MORE GUESTS ONCE I HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE?

Yes. Please let us know of any changes in your group as soon as possible. Email mattias@thefoster.org or call 650.209.7181.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?

Groups of up to 20 people are permitted during a scheduled appointment.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO VISIT THE FOSTER?

There is no admission fee to visit. If you would like to support our mission, donations are always appreciated. The Foster Art & Wilderness Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and your donation is tax deductible.

HOW DO I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT?

Please promptly email mattias@thefoster.org or call 650.209.7181 to let us know of any changes to your appointment.

IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED IN THE EXHIBITIONS?

Photographs are not permitted.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I GET THERE?

If the front doors are locked when you arrive, please ring the doorbell to the left of the entrance.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR OR BIKE?

Curbside parking is generally available along Commercial Street. Additionally, there is a small lot behind the Foster, accessible through the alleyway to the left of our building. Bike racks are available in front of the building.
