Tony Foster Videos

Artist Tony Foster and John Muir Laws discuss their art-making practices during COVID-19 quarantines and specifically Foster’s 'Lockdown Diary—56 Days,' an artwork created during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Confined to home except for one walk each day, Tony constructed this daily diary of painted and written observations using the notes and drawings made during his regular outings. The resulting artwork beautifully illustrates Tony Foster’s pandemic stay-at-home experience in his own backyard of Tywardreath, Cornwall, England.
