Enchanted Woods

Be on the lookout for fairies and other magical creatures as you create your own fairy crowns or gnome hats and head into Wistman’s Wood to hear A Walk Through the Woods by storyteller Anna. Crafting walking sticks or fairy wands, painting your own magical woodlands, or creating fairy houses to take home is part of the fun!

Volcanoes!

Young scientists experience the explosive nature of volcanoes! Wear your own crafted volcano birthday hats to listen to Who Needs a Volcano? by storyteller Anna. Then step into your hands-on ‘Laboratory’ where lemons erupt like real volcanoes, lava is made from slime, or volcano masterpieces are painted with “snow” or watercolor resist!

Night Sky

Explore the wonders of the night sky! Craft your space helmets to wear when storyteller Anna reads Mae Among the Stars, a true story about a child who dreams of becoming an astronaut and turns her dreams into reality! Then blast off into the galleries to create your own galaxy slime, starry sky watercolor paintings, or constellation viewers.

Under the Sea

Get into the swim and go fishing for party favors on your way to hear storyteller Anna read Swimmy while immersed inside the enclave of beautiful coral reef artworks by Tony Foster. The fun continues as you flow along to create your own seashell impressions or coral reef painting masterpieces.

Geology Rocks!

Can you dig it? Science meets art as you discover your inner geologist! Choose your own rocks to study, observe, and draw before heading into the galleries to hear storyteller Anna read Everybody Needs a Rock. The fun continues with science experiments that help reveal the nature and origins of these earth elements that rock!
